The Friends of Manchester Art Gallery is a registered charity established to support the work of Manchester Art Galery, including assistance with funding the purchase of works of art for the collection and interpretation and educational activities. Well over £200,000 has been raised since the charity’s launch in 1979.
Our Friends:
- Contribute to the success of one of the North West’s foremost cultural organisations
- Enjoy exclusive events including lectures, visits to country houses, art galleries and museums, trips abroad and other social activities
- Gain free admission to all exhibitions where a charge is made
- Receive invitations to private views and other Friends’ events

How to join
Annual membership costs just £18 per person or £30 for two people at the same address, or you can join in person in the Manchester Art Gallery shop.
